The current owners purchased the Drom in 2018 and since then have invested a lot of time and energy in bringing this unique heritage hotel back to life.
Much of the groundwork has been completed to preserve the property including a lot of background stuff - such as work to foundations, paintwork, new windows and very unexciting things like grease traps and plumbing!
If you haven't visited for a while you will notice some of the more visible improvements such as the refurbished dining room, upgrades to "The Barn" and beer garden for events and live music, new toilets and lots of other projects inside and out, with the overall goal of continuing to preserve the character and improve the quality of the hotel.
Future plans include restoring the accommodation to the upstairs floor, which will hopefully be happening in the not-too-distant future. Read more.
